I only wish Ford would take a shot at a light weight mid engine car. It has plenty of little engines and FWD transmissions to choose from.
Ford did not take a bail out. Their management has been solid.

Umm. Have you seen Mustang’s panel gaps ? bottom of the barrel barely better than Tesla
Interior quality is mid 2000 Kia quality

      • Ford profits are going to take a big hit in 2018. They use a lot more aluminum specially in their best selling vehicle the f150. Ford projected lower profits because the price of aluminum was up 20% even before the tariffs on imports. With rising interest rates it might get tough to sell an f150 for $50k.

        • What countries is Ford sourcing their aluminum components from? I thought Canada was excluded from the Tariff.

Agreed about the Mustang. It gets everything right, but it's just too tall.
Well it's still to tall, But they do have the RS.
That's not a Typo, I just can't spell no so well.

Still much better then the Fox body cars. With their 1/2" tolerance margins..

                      • GT350 can now be run in SCCA T1-LP with nothing more than a rollcage!

It would be a fun car to race. Too rich for my blood though.

Front and rear glass to body gaps were hilariously bad on the GT350R we did..

                              • Good evening, newer 2017 GT350 onwer just found this forum. This thread was very popular but seems to have died off. Here's a bump!

I'm local to Mid Ohio and have some goals for 2019. I got an AIM SOLO 2 and schroth quick fit pro harnesses for Christmas and will be buying a head and neck and new helmet as well.

My goal is a bone stock car running 1:39.99 on the mid Ohio club course and once I add camber a 1:38.99.

Then I'll dump the mpss and get a 200tw.
