  • Just picked up a toy hauler today

I've been searching for a toy hauler / race trailer with living quarters. Wanted a smaller one, found this one close to me & sealed the deal today.

2006 Carson Fun Runner 26' Toy Hauler

19' of cargo space for race car
3 beds (2 lazy boys & 1 overhead queen size bed)
kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, fridge) + bathroom (shower + toilet combo)
    50 gallon fresh water tank
30 gallon fuel station for race car
the deal includes a 5500w Honda generator
    Dual 6K axles
    Dry weight 6100 LB.

I thought the ramp would be very steep because of how high these sits on the axle. However, it's a 9' ramp door & it should clear my Supermiata with my current race ramps. I think this is a perfect size for my 3/4 ton diesel ram.

Needs some cleaning & I'll take it in for brand new bearings/tires & add some d-rings.

    Congrats!
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to go with a toy hauler as well, though probably going for a bigger 5th wheel.

That's really cool, congratulations! If I was careful with how I loaded it, I could tow this with my truck.

What's the thing on the roof in the first pic?

That is a nice find. Most I've seen are geared more towards bikes and atv's. That one looks like its more of car trailer.
That's not a Typo, I just can't spell no so well.

That's a solar trickle charger for the batteries.

This was actually an airplane trailer originally.

Just did some interior renovation over the weekend. Almost done. It looks so much better. I didn't do it, I hired my handy man to do it.

That's amazing. I love thos basic layouts that leave you with the big open space because even as just trailers they give you so much flexibility; for example, if you go camping with a bunch of friends over Thanksgiving weekend, you can take two big folding tables, a bunch of chairs, and seat like a zillion people inside if the weather turns terrible while everyone eats. Some of my best memories as a kid are with probably 18 people stuffed into our 20' Terry trailer; kids all stuffed in the overhead bunk, adults and kids at the couch and dinette and standing...
... adults making jokes about how much the trailer was rocking in the wind that I didn't get for another decade...
