  • NRG Wing?

Has anyone had any experience with these wings on track? Good, Bad? I'm on a very tight budget and am thinking this would work.
That's not a Typo, I just can't spell no so well.

John at Trackspec tested a bunch of wings. I don't think this one fared well in either drag or down force. You should check with www.trackspecmotorsports.com

The NRG is a wing in name only. Faux 3D "inspired by racing design" according to their site. Run away.

Stick with a company that actually utilizes aerodynamicists to develop their foils. Real foils aren't cheap. Fake foils, besides being dangerous on race cars, are just as likely to make your car slower as faster. I'd suggest a high mount 2D foil BTW.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Yeah, I kind of already knew it wasn't going to be good. But had to ask. Since my budget doesn't afford what I know I need. I'll be going low low budget. Keeping in true 1st gen RX7 form and making a adjustable spoiler. For now.
