Andy's last race car, first test since complete restoration.
Thrilled to have Andy's long time crew chief Brian on board to help dial it in again.
Some here may have met Andy or Brian at SCCA races.
I'm looking forward to fans of Porterfield racing recognizing the car and then seeing Brian too.
While Andy was a serious racer, we're just out to Vintage race and experience Andy's awesome machine.

Wow, it looks AMAZING! Let me know if you need a test pilot. I am one of the few that could reach the pedals! :-)

Thank you, Tall and Lean you'll fit perfectly.
Good Luck on Bat this week.
Although I didn't sell mine on auction the high bidder met my price 48 hours after the auction ended.

              Not on my retired income.
Besides locally they can barely get 3 GT-1 cars at events.
Mike Lewis, Kyle/Bob and Ken Davis. (those guys are fast!)
Last I heard Mike's car was on the east coast, Ken moved to the east coast.
We'll take it to HMSA/SVRA/VARA and other low key events.

Brian said it ran 1:17 at big willow.
It did 1:24 my first time out with 3 year old tires and no seat.

Too bad. I'm sure the Calclub guys would love to see Andy's car back on track. ML will be even harder to beat in 2020. We have pros slumming in the amateurs slaughtering the field at Runoffs with new TA cars. Tony Ave himself was competing at VIR Runoffs this year. I expect ML to up his game to stay competitive for 2020 Road America Runoffs. We will have to watch and see. Kyle basically has stopped racing. Too bad since he is an amazing natural talent. Bob is there to have fun but seems to suffer a fair number of mechanicals. KD can be right there but is often distracted racing too many classes. It is tough to go against ML with 50% effort in GT1 and 50% in say T1 or T2 or Atlantic or what ever else he feels like racing. There are another couple guys running GT1 off and on who I do not know. I'm sure you could be right in the mix.

                  FBB thanks for the encouragement.
We did display the car a few years ago at the January Cal Club Cal Speedway event.
There we briefly met Tim from Porterfield Brakes.
Surprisingly Andy's car got more interest when we raced it with VARA.
We'll have it at Cal Speedway with SVRA this February.
