    SOLD! Street legal track car. Currently holds 12 class records for PCA San Diego Region. Some of the times for reference are: WSIR – 1:36.14; Chuckwalla CW – 2:03.83; Chuckwalla CCW - 2:04.24, Buttonwillow CW w/Star Mazda – 2.11.46. Auto Club Roval - 2:00.16. Numerous Top 10 AX and BRI finishes. Car can run in PCA Zone 8 CC05 to CC07 Class or SP3 Spec depending on set up. Currently running in CC06. Car setup is currently legal for all Zone 8 AX, DE and Time Trial events. Car currently runs in Red run group with PCA (open passing) and holds its own with much higher horsepower cars.

    Engine - 2.5L 16V motor – stock. New rod and main bearings installed along with polished crank in May, 2010. New timing belt and balance shaft belts, rollers and water pump installed January, 2012. New tensioner and pad, timing chain, replaced cams January 2010. New Radiator installed January 2012. New fuel pump installed April 2012. Runs Lucas 20W-50W Race only synthetic oil. Changed after every track event! Car runs cool even in 108 degree heat at Chuckwalla.

    Interior – stripped of carpet, headliner and interior panels. Doors are gutted and door windows are removable Plexiglas.
    Autopower roll bar, Sparco 5 point harnesses, Corbeau seats, Momo steering wheel with low profile quick release hub, 2.5 lb Fire Extinguisher, G2X Data Acquisition. Cool Suit system. Car can still be stripped of much more weight.

    Suspension – Eibach 350 # front springs with adjustable spring perches, 28 mm rear torsion bars, rebuilt ball joints, Koni yellow adjustable shocks at all four corners, 968 MO30 front sway bar with triangulated supports, Weltmeister rear adjustable sway bar. Racer’s Edge adjustable camber plates, corner balanced and aligned. Brake cooling kit w/ducts to backing plates. No brake fade. Car is dialed in and very fast.

    Full price includes the following or price is negotiable without some or all of the following:

    3 sets of Wheels/Tires – one set each of 16 x 8 968 wheels and D90 wheels with 245/45/16 Hankook Z214 C51 tires. One set of 17 x 8.5 wheels with 255/40/17 Nitto NT01 tires.

    Spares – Engine with 16 valve head in good shape. Bottom end needs rebuild (spun #2 rod bearing).
    Miscellaneous parts such as wiring harness, exhaust with cat, headers, air cleaner, gaskets, cut off switch (never installed), DME with chip, Alternator, power steering pump, ICV, etc., etc., etc.

    Car is currently licensed and driveable on California streets and highways. I drive it to local AX and DE events and trailer it to track events. You can fit tool boxes, another set of wheels/tires, driver gear and an EZ UP in this car.
