My father was a rally driver. I remember as a child loading that trusty Ford Econovan with his rally car in tow. Winter events like Sno*Drift, POR, or practice at frozen lakes ice racing. Good times. I never took well to rally, something about ricocheting off rocks and boulders I never felt comfortable with. I did do some ice racing in his retired rally cars. HUGE fun!

When I lived in west Michigan, you had track season and rally season. I think rally season was more popular in that area.

Hey Richard, come back to Chicago when we have snow and I will give you a lesson in the BMW. Only cost you dinner

One of the benefits of growing up in the Midwest is learning to drive on gravel roads and snow and ice.

Would it have to be RWD to rally in the snow? <a href="http://www.freemanxexperience.com.au/driving-experiences-gifts/rally-driving/">FreemanX Rally Driving</a> - <a href="http://www.freemanxexperience.co.nz/driving-experiences-gifts/rally-driving/">Rally Driving Courses</a> throughout Australia & New Zealand
