  • So I drove a 2012 SLS AMG today..

    And surprisingly, it felt slow.

Ok not slow, but certainly it didn't feel like 560hp. A C5 Z06 I drove with cam and intake a while back felt faster and that's around 450hp

Do these cars have a 100hp+ button like the M5s that I missed out on??

The car handled well though and I got a nice powerslide going on entering the freeway. Car sure makes you grin!

The SLS weighs about 500 lbs. more than the Z06.
The deposed former Sheriff of trackHQ . . .

    2006 Porsche 997 Carerra Coupe 6-MT - daily driver
1992 Honda (Acura) NSX 5-MT - classic investment I couldn't resist and occasionally drive
2004 Honda S2000 AP2 6-MT - my last track day car (FOR SALE or not, depending on how I feel when I fall out of bed tomorrow morning)
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR 6-MT - when I need a backseat, 4-doors, or a real trunk, and still want to haul ass . . .

Bling watch, big sunglasses, and black baseball cap. I think we just found the THQ Baller Of the Year.
If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

Do I still qualify as baller if I'm sitting in my Miata? I know it's hard to see in the picture, but this is the watch I'm wearing:

Eh, the only thing you can do is shut e-nannies off, put the transmission in M or some sort of sport mode and everything else in it's sport mode.

I hear the Black Series version of that car is a tad bit more exciting ^^

According to Randy Pobst, the Black Series is more that a tad bit exciting . . . it's transformational. But then again, it should be with the sticker in the picture.
