  • 2014 SCCA Runoffs

We have a car there in STL. It's running a 1.6

Last qual session is tomorrow. Race Saturday in the morning. Oscar Jackson Jr is driving it.

A few details on the car (that we can share): 6 spd x 4.875 OS Giken diff with our SuperMiata tune, MS3 Pro ECU, Xida double adjustables, 15x7 6UL with 205/50/15 BFG R1-S tires, APR SCCA spec GTC-200 carbon wing and some DIY front aero, Racepak IQ3 dash, Carbotech XP12/XP10 pads on our SuperMiata/Wilwood 11" big brake kit, awesome orange stripes and splitter that make it look just like a million dollar WEC LMP1. Original nose got tore off in a testing accident 3 days before the event, thus the unpainted/striped nose

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

    Good luck!

We look forward to updates and commentary on the racing and the experience of just being there.

For those of us not able to make it to a Laguna Seca, here's a link to the results and live feed:

6 seconds off the pace? Ew. I hope Oscar has something for it.

        Good luck with the race!

6-speed and 4.8s in the back?

Can't wait to see the in-car video on that...

Engine problem. Fixed now and on the dyno first thing tomorrow morning. I think we are going to be ok for Friday afternoon qual.

Weird random failure that we got fixed, spoiled his only clear lap in Q3. Had maybe another 1.5s in it. Qualified well back but was one of the fastest STL cars in every sector. Most of the week and 1.6 NB built by Prather was on pole. Turns out we brought the right tool. It's not making the power it needs but the combo of flawless handling and Oscar Jr's pro level driving has got him in the hunt. It'll be a good race.

Anybody got a link to qual results? I only see live timing, nothing being recorded and posted that I could find.
