    5th!

Oof that looks difficult. So, just disorientingly fast.
Notice how hard he is breathing when he enters pit lane after only a handful of laps.
Those guys are world class athletes.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Faster laps (even with a rear winglet) end badly for another road racer, Sebastion Bourdais, Ford GT team mate of local legend, Billy Johnson.

There was mention of a diagnostic focus on lower extremity injury. Hoping for the best . . .

Alonso was a lil bit let down by the engine. Like never before

Anyone consider that perhaps the engine needing replacement in Alonso's car was not as fortuitous as it appeared? Perhaps with the Honda reliability issues there was a behind the scenes decision to be sure he had a fresh engine to start the race with?

AND, even with a new engine for Alonso, DNF engine failure.........................It looked like it blew the same way as the others before his.

He makes 40 million a year in F1, that's 10 MILLION more than the next highest paid driver. I'd drive with any engine they want to put in my car for that kind of money.
