  • Buttonwillow Mud

Speed District is running an event this Friday at Buttonwillow.

Since the infamous Buttonwillow dust turns to very nasty mud following rainy days, I am wondering if the current windy, dry conditions will result in reasonably stable run-off soils. I can recall mudded up undercarriages that added huge weight to the cars and became very difficult to clean. Any thoughts?

BRP mud will eat your paint. You have to not only wash it off the car but dry the car too. former BRP mud washed off and left to airdry will also eat the paint in little rings where the water drys last. So racecar who cares. GT3 Porsche streetcar occasionally tracked be alert!
